I had a great experience at this hotel overall! The place was clean and comfortable, and the amenities like the pool and spa were well-maintained, which made for a relaxing stay. However, the hot tub was often disrupted by children, which was a bit frustrating. The location is nice, offering a peaceful atmosphere while being a manageable drive from Durango.

Rooms

The unit was clean and comfortable, making it a pleasant space for my family during our stay.
Service
7.0
Service was just fine, though there were some challenges with check-in due to needing to go to a different location.
Location

It’s situated beautifully between Durango and Silverton, but it's about a 30-minute drive from Durango, which can be a hassle if you want to go out for meals.

The pool and spa areas were well-kept, but the no-children policy in the hot tub wasn't enforced, which disrupted the atmosphere for adults.

6.0/10

The hotel provides a nice and cozy atmosphere, but management could definitely improve certain aspects of the stay. The rooms were decent, though the bed could use some serious upgrading. The location is great for relaxation, nestled in a serene area, but accessing the parking can be a real challenge in icy weather. Overall, it has potential but requires better management and upkeep.

Rooms
6.0
The room was nice with decent amenities, but the bed was uncomfortable and even made me itch. The cleanliness left something to be desired.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were polite, but there was a lack of maid service during my stay, which was disappointing.
Location
8.0
The hotel is beautifully located in a quiet area, perfect for relaxation, but access can be tricky especially in winter.
Dining
5.0
There are no on-site dining options, so be prepared to make reservations at the restaurant next door or settle for fast food.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities include a gym, a big pool, and a game room, which are quite enjoyable, but overall maintenance needs attention.

My stay at this resort was a mixed bag. The condo was quaint and had a home-like feel, which I appreciated, but there were some downsides as well. The check-in process was a hassle since it was located a mile down the highway at Purgatory, and the noisy neighbors impacted my experience. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a getaway if you're well-prepared and okay with limited amenities nearby.

Rooms
7.0
The studio condo felt homey despite being a bit dated, and it had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. However, it was small, and the noise from the neighbors made it less enjoyable.
Service
8.0
The staff were professional and quickly resolved the key issue I faced during check-in.
Location

The resort is a mile from Purgatory, but it's pretty isolated with limited grocery options, which can be inconvenient for longer stays.

I didn’t use many amenities, but having a parking garage was convenient. However, the overall offerings felt limited.

I had a fantastic experience at Cascade Village during my stay for a winter wedding. The venue was beautiful, and the staff exceeded my expectations with their help and enthusiasm. While the hot tubs and other amenities were great, I wish the dining options were more varied. Overall, it was a charming place for a winter getaway, especially with the cold snowy backdrop.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, allowing plenty of room for guests.
Service
10.0
The service from Shelaine and Ken was outstanding, as they went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay.
Location
9.0
Cascade Village is conveniently located close to the mountain, making it easy to access for skiing and other activities.
Dining
7.0
While there were some nice touchpoints like homemade sweets, the dining experience could use more variety.
Facilities
8.0
The hot tubs and game room provided fun options for relaxation and entertainment, though it would have been nice to have more amenities available.
